Best Obviously Narnia Song Not Actually On the Narnia Soundtrack: Viva La Vida” by Coldplay. Everyone in the fandom seems to agree that this song is perfect for Narnia, it’s being quoted in fics and everything (the title of the awesome P/C/E fic “My Mirror, My Sword, My Shield” comes from this song). It’s a wonderful example of the DIYness of fans and fandom, that they’ve just adopted this song as part of the unofficial soundtrack. Second Best: Beneath a Phyrgian Sky by Loreanna McKennit (Yes, I am resisting the temptation to throw her entire catalogue in)
Rillian and The Lady (or, Jadis and AU Evil!Edmund): Blackhole Sun by Soundgarden
