NO we ARE NOT. We're not even really a "we".

And sometimes people just forget to think of your feelings. You can ask for other people to provide minimal reasonable safeguards for you, but you can't expect them to read your mind.

I think they were trying to say that since we are all women, we should support each other and be considerate of each other's feelings and be sensitive about topics like rape.

Which is very admirable. Not at all realistic, but definitely something to root for. But women are, of course, not like that as anyone who has ever belonged to an actual "community of women" should know.

The other problem with that is that we're not a community of women. If by "we" they mean fandom.
