sometimes it just turns out that way
In September of 2009, Mackenzie told Oprah Winfrey on the eve of her 1979 wedding she was raped by her father while in a drug induced blackout. After that, the two had a "consensual", incestuous relationship lasting ten years.

Ah, okay, so she was over the age of consent at the time. That...doesn't make it much less disturbing. The Velvet Underground was right, they are "creepy". Still beautiful music though, and their disturbing personal quirks add interesting layers to it. You know, the dark undertones to the 60s SoCal hippie culture.

But, every time I hear one of these "life is stranger than fiction" tidbits I think "and people criticize and/or ridicule RPS writers?

Another mostly fruitless apartment visit today. Woman who posted the ad put a certain price in the ad, which was different than the one quoted to me by the guy she had meet me at the place. The apartment was better than a lot of ones I've seen lately, but awfully small, with a lot of stairs, and only hot water is included. :\

I wonder if I should try to learn to write tv scripts? Maybe I'd be better at that, with my writing style that is kind of...spare and heavy on the dialogue?

That sounds doable - maybe radio plays to start, as those can be a credible way to get established enough to have a TV take a chance on your script? (Incidentally, I have a *terrific* radio play you may want to listen to, provided by m'friend Zosia and called CAESAR PRICE OUR LORD; I only initially listened to it because it starred that RAPUNZEL actor, but seriously, I'd be pressing this on you if it starred John Doe or A. N. Other. It takes as its premise the idea of a stage-magician suddenly declaring that he IS the Second Coming and offering to prove himself by being crucified in a London park - fraud, devil, madman or Messiah? I'll send it along: I think you'll like the theological discussion, the wit and the way it uses the medium to mind-expanding effect.)

Hope it proves an inspiration to you! :D

Maybe I should've tried that from the start.

I *bet I will* like that play, I have it downloaded now, I just need to sit down and listen (I have found the most amazing ways to procrastinate lately, today I was like "I'll work later, I have to bake a very small cake and carve a pumpkin).
