( Nightshifter, Playthings, Houses of the Holy )The next episode is “Born Under a Bad Sign” which is interesting but I didn’t have much to say about it. The one after that is “Tall Tales” which is hilarious but also not something I have much to say about. Except that a few people suggested Dean is eating poutine in that first motel scene, while other people insist that it doesn’t look at all like poutine. This led to fascinating debates on just what poutine is supposed to look like, with the usual fans desperate to be an expert at
something vehemently insisting that there is only one way poutine is ever allowed to look. I mean, there can’t
possibly be variations. Even though it’s not as popular in the US as it is in Canada, you can still get it here and if you can get it in the US, there
will be differences and
differences do not make something less authentic. That being said, it probably was chili cheese fries in poor lighting.
Oh, and the slow dancing aliens, and the “I didn’t lose it, I don’t lose things” exchange because it’s funny because who hasn’t had that fight with their sibling?
