No, I'm actually not kidding. Try not to die from the shock.

Jadis/Edmund
Dreamland by M Kari
Edmund still sees her sometimes, in his dreams.

Delight by Sloane

The first winter of their rule comes suddenly, snow while they sleep, and in the morning Peter looks at him as if it’s his fault.

Like Stone by thisissirius

He trod carefully, finding a relatively quiet patch near the edge of the wood and drew his sword. He remembered clearly his weapon slicing through the Witch’s wand and hearing sound not unlike glass shattering.

His heart breaking.

Of These Things Is He Made by Hyel

Susan/Edmund
Apples Aren’t Everything by Worblehat

At least, Edmund was sure that Susan's lips hadn't been that red back home.

Edmund/Lucy
Love Buzz by talk_back

Yes, there's certainly a first time for everything. Lucy is patient, she takes things step-by-step. Not as patient as Susan, of course, nor as majestic as Peter. She tries not to rush, but sometimes she just can't slow down.

Unbent by Mirrors, Covering Your Eyes Against the Morning by Pen

That one looks like Aslan," Lucy says, and Edmund blinks.

"You always say that," he says

Golden Age era, with Jealous!Edmund.

Heart in a Headlock by la luxuria

The rest of the day Lucy hid in hers and Susan’s bedroom, playing with her assorted toys. Edmund spent the rest of the afternoon building a track of books through the living room and then knocking them down,

This one has moments of not perfectness, but it has intriguing Backsliding!Edmund interaction. And I like Lucy's Snow White costume- because it's historically appropriate (and perfect for her personality) even if British kids don't really Trick or Treat.

Poor Jerusalem by liminalliz
(Jadis/Edmund/Lucy, well, sort of)
Edmund, the younger of the warrior kings, is nowhere to be found. Sopespian and his men search every cave and interrogate every prisoner. They document the following: some say that a cold, harsh wind from the North swept up the boy, carrying him off into the skies; others say that the earth swallowed the last king of Narnia up; and a few believe that they saw him vanish completely, as if he was never there at all.

OMG. OMG. OMG. Character death warning.

Eustace/Jill
Not Meeting the InLaws by Estella B
He had invited Jill to stay at his cousins' as well, and when she made objections that she couldn't just turn up uninvited, he wrote a very vague letter to Edmund saying that he might be bringing a friend.

Best Eustace/Jill fic ever. I mean, I don't know how many there are. But it's very well done.

Plead Insanity by Estella B
Eustace Scrub is convinced that someone is playing a not-very-friendly trick upon him. He isn’t sure who it is, and has gone through various stages (some more rational than others) of blame, including Jill, Edmund, Lucy, Caspian, Reepicheep, Puddleglum, Rilian, and, perhaps most frequently, certainly most accurately, his own emotions, apparently no longer subject to his will.

Aslan/Lucy (nothing really squicky)
Beauty Exploding by Jessica

I have reason to believe this fandom will eventually break my heart. And yet, can't seem to stop. It’s not the books. Any bad news the books had in store for me, I already knew about and found out years ago. It’s everything else. It’s the other people in the fandom-when they turn out to be horrible or when I blunder it and they all end up hating me, it’s when I find out things about the actors I did not really want to know, which is already starting to happen and is why I’m not reading any more interviews, and it’s how there isn’t going to be another movie for two years. So I won’t be able to rely on this fandom for constant, fresh entertainment. The next movie could suck, too, or Disney could break ties with Walden Media over some issue and whoops, no more movies at all. Plus, all the other peripheral issues surrounding the source material that usually lead to awkwardness.

I forgot all about that huge list of Harry Potter recs I never posted. *sigh*

All fandoms eventually break one's heart. Just do your best to absorb enough enjoyment (and maybe make some lasting friends) before it happens!
