“Having Your Cake” got a review asking how old Ed and Lucy were in it. And I realized that maybe I wasn’t very clear on that. I’d been thinking “Last Battle” era (making them both consenting adults) but I failed to mention that anywhere or give any concrete clues. No wonder it hasn’t gone over well. It might need tweaking anyway.
I also got one saying someone loved “Hands Clean” but thought I should go back and expand some stuff, etc. Which I actually would do if I had the time because I agree-it needed work and some day I'll either have to fix it or take it down but I can’t go back and rewrite such a long story when I really need to write things that can be, if not published, at least better practice for getting things published. Unless I decide to do the story again but in my own universe or something… I’d have to find a way to make it make logical sense independent of the Potterverse. And since the story is kind of “wtf was I smoking?”* in the first place. Well. Most of my Potterverse fic wouldn’t work in any other universe.
I can't continue the J/MM fic until I decide exactly where they are and who they're with and where they plan to go next.

As far as my ballet mystery is going, it's limping along. Something is missing from it.
**answer: nothing at all. My brain is a strange place.
