Got a final PB fic in.

I Don't Like Your Girlfriend Caspian/Edmund, jealousy.

Yes, I know, there isn't any lube. Let's pretend I did that on purpose.

I ran out of time to get the P/E prompt in, couldn't think of a way to do it.

And someone finally wrote King's Shadow fic. I like it. It feels exactly like part of the book (what I can remember of the book, which is apparently, not as much as I thought).

TITLE: Hinech Yafa 1/1 (the long version of a Porn Battle prompt)
Fandom: Bible
Pairing: Jesus/Mary Magdalene
Prompts: gown, green, sleet, steep
Notes: Title comes from the Idan Raichel Project song (okay, yes, and the Bible but I was listening to the song), based on poetry by Solomon.
Also, there is a severe lack of anything resembling porn in this (and possibly a lot of historical license). Thank you [info]threeorangesfor the emergency beta.

Edmund and Lucy always have problems handling themselves when Peter and Susan have left the story, usually by tragic means, because I don’t mean like in VotD where there were plenty of responsible adults who cared about them still around, I mean, Ed and Lucy totally on their own. They tend to go insane or make stupid decisions. And you know, I can see where the writers are getting this. What were the first things Edmund and Lucy did when they wandered into Narnia, which was, at the time, a hostile place they’d never been to before?

Every story I’ve written or am working on for the Porn Battle has a title that begins with H. I have no idea why. And none of them so far have been porn. Stories with erotic content, yes, stories I am proud of, yes, but porn, not at all. That wouldn’t be a problem if this wasn’t a porn battle. Let’s try for some actual explicit sex in this next one, okay?

I went to the opening of the new Goodwill. Apparently they'd moved down the street and it was supposed to be this huuge store. Well, it's really not that much bigger, and the prices actually went *up* on some things (hey, they said it was a new store, they never said they were having a sale). But I got some really nice stuff- Louis Vuitton wedge heels and two cashmere sweaters :)

ETA never mind :)

Narnia and the significance of the character's names and...what that means about their sex lives? )

Well, Disney bought Fanlib and Fanlib is closing this August.

Huhh. That should take care of many problems.

One of the things I like about the Porn Battle is discovering who else likes weird little fandoms I thought I was alone in liking (although, this also means you can judge just how obscure your fandoms are by how many people actually choose to write for them in the end).

I mean, Joan Aiken’s “Wolves of Willoughby Chase” series? I adored those when I was younger (the first three at least, after that they got weird) and I figured they were just another one of those “obscure” series no one else I knew had heard of. Yeah…it took me years to realize they were supposed to be slightly AU as well. Anyway, I never thought of pornifying them…huh.

If we’re doing obscure YA historical novels, Maybe I should ask for Striped Ships/King’s Shadow het crossover, or just some King’s Shadow Harold/Evelyn slash.

….I just said that, didn’t I.

And I’m not the only one who wanted Hancock/Mary. Whoo hoo.

You can do anthropomorphic pairings this time around. I should have done a prompt for one of those…I once sorta wrote Israel/Lebanon.

TITLE: A Sailor’s Suit and Cap 1/1
Author: Babydraco
Fandom: A Great and Terrible Beauty
Pairing: Felicity/Pippa
Rated: R
Summary: Written for the Porn Battle, prompts were glass, windows, lace.
Warnings: Femmslash
Disclaimer: I am not Libba Bray (if I was, the series would probably be different) and I’m not making money off this.
Note: This has not been beta read, because with the Porn Battle, there isn’t enough time really. Not at the pace I write. ETA: And apparently the prompt was "grass" not "glass". Oh well. And the title is from "Heroin" by Lou Reed/The Velvet Underground.
The long version )
